I strongly suggest you see an allergist who can help determine if you may also need to see a gastroenterologist.() Acid reflux is not a nice problem to deal with either.

Many allergy symptoms can be controlled with medications and there are lots of them available depending on your cause and symptoms. Asthma can be triggered by allergies too. Also, there is no such thing as "mild asthma". You either have it or you don't. You may have a mild attack and never have another or they may escalate into something difficult to control. I have allergies and asthma and sometimes, the attacks get pretty frightening.

If you are worried, don't try to self medicate; get to your physician and let him help you. Best wishes!
