It is so sad to hear that a child so young suffers. I know what it is like to depend on doctors to do the right thing for my son, so I can just imagine what your family is going through. I will say prayers for your family and your beautiful Devin.

I\'m praying for your grandson to be able to overcome this, he\'s a beautiful baby and from his pictures of him smiling you would never know he\'s fighting for his life. I hope the doctors can get him through this infection he\'s fighting now, and that there will be a miracle with his surgeries and he\'ll get through all this.

I feel so bad for your family and for little Devon struggling to stay alive and get better..poor sweet baby..so gorgeous and his precious little face wrenches my heart...good thoughts are with you always and I am off to light a candle for your little grandson..

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We really needed them yesterday.

Devin is stable but still critical. He is not awake and they will keep him out so he can rest to help fight off this infection. They said that his heart stopping was caused by the antibiotic. There was a name for it but I can\'t tell you what it is. Something about when there is infection in the blood and the aintibiotic enters and ruptures something and then in turn causes the blood pressure to drop dramatically which then stops the heart.

Now we just wait to see how this infection plays out.

I will be back with more updates as things progress.
