| Who is still eating Thanksgiving leftovers? Are you doing anything interesting?? I am so over all the food we have! I am making Turkey and Duck Okra Gumbo tonight! Anybody have any good recipes? Either someone here or someone at work talked about a soup with left over turkey AND dressing! It would be great if I could use this food and not have to freeze or throw it out! |

| Omelets made with leftover turkey and vegetables is really good. You can thin down the leftover mashed potatoes with milk, reheat, add some (real) bacon pieces and top it off with shredded cheese and more bacon pieces...that makes a great 'comfort' food on a cold day! |

| We've been snacking on Thursday's leftovers for 2 days...&...today was 2nd Thanksgiving with my kids. The Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms went fast. When we were done eating I boxed up all of the leftovers and the still hot apple crisp and sent them on their way. All of the rest of "anything turkey & trimmings" went into the trash and I'm done with leftovers & Thanksgiving. Oh, I think there's some lemon delight left, yumm

| I'm sorry...what about sweet potatoes? You could make a sweet potato soup using the same idea...kind of like the yellow squash soup or pumpkin soup. Of course, if your house is like mine there are never any leftover sweet potatoes! |
