PEANUT BUTTER BLOSSOMS

1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz.) pkg. chocolate kisses

Cream sugar, butter and peanut butter. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; stir into egg mixture. Shape into balls and roll in additional sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Immediately press a kiss into each cookie. Makes 7 dozen.

It's always a big hit with my family and friends. And they are SO easy. I make them with my little sister (she's 9 now) and she has a blast. She likes making the balls, rolling them in the sugar, and putting the kiss on best. It's definitely a fun recipe to make with children.
