| Anyone have a Sony Vaio? I'm really, really debating between a MAC and a PC because i'm looking for something that's 2gb.. and i heard great things about mac but i don't think i can afford the price for their 2gb system and i'm needing a laptop asap. so i saw this http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-...oductDetail.do and was thinking if Vaio's were good and trustable? it has some good specs, but wasn't sure if Sony was a good company? does anyone have a sony viao laptop and how long do you think it's good for? Thanks everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I do and I love it - it comes with so much stuff you don't need though and I had to reformatt my hard drives because my D drive was where all the memory was and I like to use my C drive - so I partitioned them and now my C drive is HUGE but I also had a Sony Vaio Big TV that pooped out only after 6 years - the picture tube went out and they wanted 2 GRAND to fix it - needless to say it's now decorating my corner till I can get someone to haul it away - |

| My daughter has a Sony Vaio laptop and we love it...it has soo much stuff on it and a nice size screen. My friend researched laptops and this was the best one at the time (it is a few years old now)

| I had two Sony Vaio's and I now have a Mac. The Mac blows the Vaio AWAY! I seriously love my Mac. The Vaio kept crashing. I'm not sure what price range you're looking at or models, I know both my Vaio's and Mac have had 2GB(my hubby loves computers and insisted on it) but my Mac cost less than the Vaio I had. One Vaio was 15(too big), the next Vaio was 13(too thick), now I have the 13 white Mac...Perfect Cute too.

| The only MAC i was looking at was the macbook pro because it was the only 2gb system i saw, and it was 2700+!! I'm sure it's worth it, but I also have a compaq presario and like the above poster it's pooping out on me (i've had it for 2 years now).. my budget is only like 1300-1500.. and the sony vaio i posted is 2gb/200gb system and i thought it looks decent (well that and i'm a sucker for pink lol).. too many decisions, too many lol.. |
