I had two Sony Vaio's and I now have a Mac. The Mac blows the Vaio AWAY! I seriously love my Mac. The Vaio kept crashing. I'm not sure what price range you're looking at or models, I know both my Vaio's and Mac have had 2GB(my hubby loves computers and insisted on it) but my Mac cost less than the Vaio I had. One Vaio was 15(too big), the next Vaio was 13(too thick), now I have the 13 white Mac...Perfect
