feeling ignored? Another thread made me think this might be something that needs to be said, especially for newer members. If you feel like a thread you start isn't getting a lot of responses- trust me you are not alone. I promise it isn't personal and I would bet every single one of has has started a thread and been a little hurt by the lack of response. This forum is so large that sometimes threads get buried or overlooked. If this happens to one of your threads just give it a bump.;) I have not found this forum to be cliquey but if there are cliques, I haven't been invited to one yet and I still enjoy here, lol. You can read the first few pages of the thread killer thread and see that we all have moments of taking things personally, even long time members, but since we all have those moments, it can't be personal, lol. Did that make any sense?:D Edit for clarity- To sum up my rambling, all members are valued and there is no popularity contest. |
It made perfect sense! :) P.S. How did you get to be a member of the crazy club? I think I need to join that one! LOL :p |
Hey, want to see some of my "didn't fly" threads??? Go to siblings pictures and look at Kallie and Brandy..............wow, very little posts and then only from a few but those few made my day cause they appreciated the pics!:) :) :) |

If you like to dress you furbabies your in! If you don't but think it's okay that others do- your in!;) If you think people who dress their dogs are crazy, you're out!:p |
Good post. Eventually You will have a thread that gets little responses whether you have a large post count or small one. I know I have been here 3 yrs and I have had some get little response so I bumped them. Posts get buried so easy especially in General discussion and Off topic |

Amen my YT Sista! Good Post!!! :bravo: :goodpost: |
"Popular" is such a strong word...makes me think of high school. I think 'involved' maybe suits better... If you feel like your thread isn't getting any hits...just put 'I want to breed my teacup' in the title!:p |

If you go to that thread "Thread Killer" and after reading the being then go to the end and join that thread after a week let me know how many new friends you made......;) |
About the bumping thing... I thought we could only bump once? cause some of my threads haven't had a lot of responses so I would like to bump them. but I've been scared to bump cause I didn't know what the rules are about that. |

Nikki great post and this goes for everyone...especially *bump* your thread for sick/emergency needed responses if you feel you are not getting a quick enough answer to your question. ;) |
Thanks LuvMyKobie!! that did help a lot!! |
Last weekend I Posted a Zoo picture thread in Off topic.... Let me tell you. I think I posted most of the replies. and there were so really great pictures.. I hate when people take the time to look but can't just say Nice pictures or something:confused:  Just look at the post /veiws to most threads... It only takes a second. |

Ha, ha, ha, How about " Can I breed a small female with a bigger Male" or "I'm looking for a teacup, baby teddy bear face yorkie for my 2 yr old son":D :D :D :D :p |
I do sometimes. There are posts that I do where I get minimal responses and there are some that I kill. :) But there is a lot going on here and unless you can sit here all day you miss them. I know I do, I'm like oh wow how did I miss that? (the post is like 3/4 days old). I try. I also read a lot that I don't post on because I don't have the words of wisdom, any experience to share, or they are those iffy ones that we really should just stay away from. I tend to not post on those that will become controversial or that I'm leary if they are for real or not, I also stay away from some wherein when I have posted on that persons threads in the past I've received a nasty PM. I figure it's there issue to deal with. This may sound rude and I don't mean for it to be. Sorry. |
I know when i first joined, I didnt post much, I read like a crazy women:rolleyes: I to felt a little over looked shall we say, I try to post to threads as much as i could, still do, this for example is a great thread to point out such things;) YT Rocks:p :p |
OKay now you guys are making me feel bad.....hee, hee (not really). I am so guilty about opening and not posting anything. I am now going to make an effort to at least say SOMETHING if I open a thread....that means a whole lot more postings from me - I hope you all are ready ~ LOL!! :D :D |

You know what bugs me sometimes???? When you post something in a thread.... and then some one else post almost the exact thing. Then some one quotes them :( It is like I was not even there:cry: |

Well you better not stop sending those PMs because you know I wan to see those sweet little babies! I don't know why but I haven't been spending much time over at the pictures forum and I'm probably missing a lot. I just need to get on over there! I am also totally guilty about reading and not posting. I can't tell y'all how many times I start a reply and then say, naw, I don't really have anything to add. If I sent every post that I started I'd be rivaling Chachi for post counts.:p Well lookout- I'm going to start sending them all!:D |

I'll say LOL Look great minds think alike ;) |
I think it's great that we're all talking about this. It's what makes YT special. We all read and not respond. Honestly, sometimes I'm just too lazy. I admit not all my threads are 'post worthy':p and there are tons of threads and so little time:( . |
