| Organize Recipes I currently have a box that contains sheets and sheets of recipes and it is a disaster. I cannot keep anything straight and when I want to make something it takes me forever to find the recipe that I am wanting to make...so I have decided that I need to find another way of storing my recipes not only for ease of finding them but also to get the clutter gone... How do you organize your recipes?

| I have 2 of these. I finished updating the 1st album (and it's really full) and I am now working on the 2nd album. It takes a lot of work, but I think it's really worth the effort. I had a bunch of old sheets of paper, clippings out of newspapers and magazines, had written scraps, and now it's all organized and so easy to find stuff, now. If you can put the time in, I highly recommend these albums. http://www.lang.com/jump.jsp?itemTyp...C2%2C111%2C928 The effort and time comes into play when you have to transfer the recipes to recipe cards.

| My Goal~ Is to organize my recipes too as a winter project, BUT it hasn't happened yet...I swear when I do I probably won't be able to find a thing, I know what each recipe is written on (from an envelope to old airline menus)...So I am going to do a scrap book of them and just cut zig zag edges, etc. and fancy them up...

| I love and do a lot entertaining before I started gofetch so I have been collecting recipes as well as cookbooks. My tested recipes have grown so much that I have them now on binders with each recipe in individual sheet protectors so when I take it out and work on it I know it won't ever get dirty or messed up I have also categorized them accordingly (beef, poultry, pasta, bread, dessert, sauces, etc). Here's a picture with all of my binders (they are the blue/grey ones on the top shelf . . . they are in my pantry so are readily accessible anytime |
