New England Yorkie Talk Meet Up I've moved the Boston YT meet up here.... |
Sorry for the confusion everyone! So far we are talkin about us Yorkie Talkers meeting later this Spring, early Summer with our fur-babies in Boston Common on either a Saturday or Sunday. Does anyone have a date or day preference? Michiko said there is a parking garage for $11/day nearby. |
Let's pick up the month at first :) May, June, July????? |
I would be very intersted !! |
Great!! Since Christina (Celstu1) has expressed that early Summer works best for her and mid-Summer might be too hot, what if we rule out July? That gives us May and June to decide. We are fine with either month and either day (Sat. or Sun.) Linda~ |
Oh it would be so nice to meet in Plymouth, its so pretty there with the beach the site seeing maybe another time! |
I'm up for a Plymouth meet up as well!:D Maybe the next one? |
Once you have a date....let me know...I would go to either place Boston or Plymouth.... |
Im still crossing my fingers for Plymouth, its just so beautiful down there in the spring and summer , lots of grass , beaches , outdoor eating areas ? |
I was hoping that more people will resepond.. |

There has to be more people in and around Boston on YT!!! I think it would be fun to meet everyone and then head to a cafe or something... I will be brining my stroller and I have a spare if somone needs to use one just for the day.. |
I wish I could go! I am currently living overseas though. I'll be back in a couple years for the next-next-next-next-next gathering ;) Or something like that! |
Is there a New England group on YT? |

meet up Either Boston or Plymouth would work for me, and any month is fine. Should be fun! |
June is fine with me...... |
June works for me too!! Im really looking forward to it :) |
Meetup Skootie and I would love go to a meetup....Boston or Plymouth is fine. Being in Plymouth I would be willing to help out with making any arrangements or planning. I know of a couple of places that would a nice place to meet. :) |
Plymouth or Boston? Please Vote OK....stepping out on a limb a little here .... hope it is OK? It seems a couple of you would prefer(?) Plymouth over Boston? I don't have a preference since I don't know of meeting/parking/eating places in Boston or Plymouth but if the general consensus is that people would prefer to travel to Plymouth and someone can be our point of contact person there I guess I should ask is anyone OPPOSED to meeting in Plymouth? Also, it sounds like June is OK with everyone? Let's try and narrow it down to the first two weekends in June. Does anyone have a preference Saturday or Sunday? Is there an outdoor park to meet in Plymouth? Is there an outdoor cafe or doggie boutique to visit or could we plan to have a picnic lunch outside? Any other ideas or suggestions? I personally just think it would be fun to meet all of you and for our furbabies to meet and have a play date.:) Of course, I'm just tossing ideas out there...Boston is still fine with us and Michiko, I know you said you would even travel to the Cape.....We've only been in our house 6 months now and if our yard was finished I'd love to have everyone here!!:D Maybe next Summer!! Linda~ |
meetup I will go where ever anyone else is willing to go. I am also willing to have it at my house if anyone is just looking for a playdate and maybe a picnic lunch. As for shopping here in Plymouth, the only thing that I know we have around here is Petco and Petsmart, other than that I would have to go checking for other shops around....I dont get out too much for shopping I do most of mine online. Anyway I have a small play area but I could arrange to make it bigger by June. The only problem I have is the first weekend in June my daughter graduates but after that I'm open. Kelly :) |
HI All!!! I am good with either Boston or Plymouth.... Plymouth might be a bit more pet friendly than Boston... and easier to park at! LOL But I'll go... Im free in June for the most part I believe. I even have a week off in June from 22 - 26. Let me know if I can help coordinate anything! I usually forget about the regional forums so if you want my help just PM me! I'll be glad to help in any way I can!!! If you guys want to come up to Lovely Hudson NH (45mins north of Boston) we can do a cookout at my house! My condos are pet friendly and there is a big field for the babies! We can cook on the grill and it's FREEEEE! :) (well just chip in a bit for food to cook!) |
Just to be a pain in the butt.. Newburyport is awesome... has a GORGEOUS doggy boutique and I believe it's quite pet friendly. Just to throw that out there! :) |
Hey! You are a pain in the but!....KIDDING!!!! :D Actually, I LOVE the North Shore...lived there for quite a while....haven't been to Newburyport in a while though...LOVE Rockport too!! OK, OK....but for now, so as not to make this total chaos, let's stick with Plymouth and/or Boston? For our first??? Is that OK? Anyone? Everyone? I actually do like the idea of visiting a doggy boutique though...think it would be kind of fun/funny if a bunch of us all walked in with our furbabes!! OK...I'm going to read back on these threads with the people who have commented on the dates regarding June so that perhaps we could set the date and then plan from there? |
Great idea. I do have to say the doggy boutique in Newburyport is to die for! The shops, restaurants outside, etc... its a great place! :) |
Im not sure if there is a pet boutique there but I know there is a park, the beach, the mayflower, the old cemeterys , I believe outside areas for eating, ice cream shops and beautiful scenery. Im up for either place!! I do however think that plymouth is a nice area and any day time is okay with me! |
so no more word on this? |
I just came on this thread to check it out too, but then figured everyone was waiting till June was closer... I hope this happens... I am looking forward to it.. |
