Linda, I was able to find the buttons today real cheap so I picked them up I was going to do the same thing Rebecca was going to do with the YT logo. I will do a test pin the the morning and I'll take a picture of it and post it, if everyone likes them I will print the rest of them. If we have a list of who is going to be there I can personalize them with everyones screen name. |
RSVP - No Hi, Not able to go to May 3 event. :( No pin needed for me. Thanks - hope everyone has a good time.:) "Party Un-Crasher";) |
I just wanted to thank all of you who showed up at the Yorkies Inc Annual Play Date.... I was able to say hi when you checked in...but did not have any time to chat and really meet... I am looking foward to our meet up in June so I can hang out with everyone and their babies... |
Thank you!! Kerry, We had an absolute blast. Thank you for putting on such an awesome event. It was Willow & Jake's first "real play date" and they had a great time. Tony (my husband) LOVED it! Winning the Red Sox Tee Shirt was the icing on the cake! Really looking forward to Plymouth in June!! |

We would be interested too! Hi we would be very interested in a meet up! We just adopted two yorkie puppies who are now 12 and 13 weeks respectively. We have had yorkies before but never had the time to really socialize them with other dogs. Please let us know when and where. Thanks:animal-pa |

Meet Up Logistics OK Here is what we have so far: *Our meeting date will be Saturday, June 13 (how about a Rain Date of Saturday, June 20th?). *Kelly has scoped out a great park in Plymouth called Nelson Memorial Park. There are restrooms and some picnic tables (swings if you have kids) * If you have ex-pens-please bring them...so far, 2 of us have the 8-sided plastic type that we can put together (1 more of these would be great!) *Thought everyone could just bring a picnic lunch sandwiches (something easy?) I know I mentioned a clothing swap but first, if you haven't read this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sit...ing-forum.html please do..at least go to the end of it....it sounds as if something might be taking place very soon where we will actually be having some type of a trading forum on YT which might benefit us all!? Of course, we still could do some type of swap but I was thinking that it might be fun to do a Yankee Gift Swap....say with a small limit like I don't know...what do you think? $10 or $15? (Fur-baby related items of course) Is that too much??? I certainly don't want anyone to feel pressured so that is why I would like feedback. I mean one could buy a couple of doggie toys or treats for that---or even make something in time for the meet up. What do you think? I've only done this once at a job at Christmas and it was a lot of fun...FEEDBACK PLEASE!!! |
Linda, Thats a great idea, we do yankee swaps at christmas and its a blast. Count me in! You can probably get a couple little items for $10 or less. I have a friend that has another expen if no one else has one she will let me use it for the day. Picnic lunch sounds great to me! Easy! Also rain date for the 20th is good too! Can't wait for the 13th! :D |
OH Im really excited and I like the idea of a yankee swap to , that will be lots of fun , also I like the idea of bringing stuff we dont need or want to trade, I know I have a ton, I think it would be great to bring some stuff just because there will be no postage.... Just a thought. Id also be willing to bake something to bring too!! |
Thanks for the invitation, Linda (abby2473). :) I dunno, though...I'm pretty old and decrepit, though my pup is young and frisky. ;) She's 15 months and spent most of her life penned up in a kitchen...her former owner was disabled...so she hasn't been socialized properly, yet. She's owned us now about a month and a half. I also have nothing in the way of pens or strollers or swaps, I'm afraid. I sure wouldn't want to muck up the fun. I do know I'd be in glory surrounded by pooches though, that's a given. :) |

So, count me in! If anything comes up and I can't make it for some reason, I'll let you know as far in advance as possible. My DH will probably drop me and pick me up, so I'll need some idea of the schedule. I live in Hanson, so I'm not far away... I'm assuming someone has directions to the park. Don't wanna end up in P-Town, lol. I do have some XXS clothes I could swap. Miss Porky is pretty much an XS, now. Wish I could say the same. :D What's everyone wearing? Jeans and flipflops or a little dressier? |

.....as for clothes....wear anything your little heart desires!! (jeans & flip flops sound good to me!) |
After 40 years of marriage, I feel safe in saying this is not my Baby's kind of thing. Still...I'll invite him. You never know, he's mellowed some since retirement... (JK...pretty much, lol) |
I'd love to bring my husband... I'd like to bring my husband so maybe the guys could hang out together...lol! |
Love to swap.... I'd like to swap if I can find something the two maniacs haven't chewed up....hahahaha! |
Does anyone have a puppy female I have a TON of stuff , harnesses, leashes, clothes, etc. they are to small for my chubby puppy !! Please let me know |
Well, I've continued buying stuff that doesn't fit. I have a raincoat that's too small and the cutest little pink puff winter jacket that's too big. **sigh** I'll bring them along...surely someone can use them. |

Here is my feedback on all this. Plymouth June 13 still works for me so I am in. I have a plastic x-pen that is currently broken apart to be used for gates but I can bring it with me. I think its 6 sided though, unless I lost a side along the way! (these things happen! haha) Yankee swap is a cute idea for sure, however a $10 limit is about all my budget can take right now. Between the GE and paycut I took at work, money is super tight these days. Again, if I can do anything to help out let me know. I finish school on monday and will have way more free time! YAY! So if I can do anything at all, (thats cheap of course) please feel free to ask! :) |
