Thanks again, everyone. I never thought they'd catch on because I took so long before I introduced it to them. Eddie may not get it, but at least he enjoys it and Jillie makes it worthwhile for a visit.

Funny you should mention "the saucer eyes." We've been swimming with Deuce this year and he has the same look. I don't keep him in too long because I don't know if he's afraid but he does a great doggy paddle with his vest on. I like the approach they used at the pool with a ramp and toys. I may have to see if we can do something like that at our lake. Such a cute video.

Oh my goodness....I lol....They are adorable...I didn't know yorkies were retrievers!!!!
Buddybear hates water. I didn't even by a kiddie pool for him in this heat. Before noon it was 95 today.

I just loved seeing Jillie 'get it!!' So awesome. Man I would steal her from you in a heartbeat.. if I could pry her from you that is! Eddie is adorable as always and always tries his best. Jackson is more comfortable with a ramp of sorts, too. When he jumps in my dads pool, he usually jumps onto a raft first before jumping into the water, I think it makes him feel more comfortable.

Btw, I feel ya on the cost thing... the only reason Jackson gets chances to swim is because of my family members w/ pools. We have an aquatic facility near us and it's sooo expensive. I always think about going in the winter time but then don't want to pony up the money. But it is such great exercise and good for their joints too.

We did dock diving once to practice but couldn't get him off the dock. He liked the ramp a lot tho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUD4ZNDubaI Again I can't get myself to spend the money when we can swim for free! lol. So we never tried it again.
