| Edie the Scared Shelter Dog I had to share this with the board. Warning - it will make you cry - but not a sad ending I promise. |

| You're right...that made me cry but it was worth watching! I am always drawn to the 'underdog'...the one who needs groomed or a hug or the one who isn't the cutest or prettiest...they all need love...I hope you find her a great home...she deserves it! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That was so sad but touching. I see so many of these babies come in to the shelter and am amazed at what a little TLC does to calm them down.

| You're right, this will make you cry. First, tears of sadness at the emotional scarring this poor pup has, then tears of joy as she wags her tail and turns over for bellyrubs.

| I'm wiping the tears away. That was beautiful. Edie is beautiful. How wonderful to see her transformation in such a short period of time too. The video said it...All Edie needed was a hug.

| They do wonderful work helping Maltese I been donating my artwork to AMA West Coast Rescue via Edie Gobbi and Joanie Carqueville for the last few because they do so much good work helping Maltese. This year she said, they AMA has rescued more Maltese and spent more money in the last 18 months than ever before.. She also said The economy being so bad and all....people are turning the Maltese in (people can't afford to keep them, Malt may have a health problem and the owner has no money to get the care, people having to move into an apartment where they won't accept dogs, etc).....even the puppy mill breeders can't sell there dogs, so they are bringing them to the shelters to be put down. We save as many as we can.I just donated a piece of my artwork in memory of my Holly who passed away May 6th. I did it from a picture of her when she was 5. I painted her on real goose egg and a made a music box in the Fabrege style. It will be at next years AMA National Specialty in Atlanta in the rescue raffle. |

| It's amazing how quickly she came around after that one hug. She must have been loved at one time. Too bad they can't tell their story of how they came to be neglected and left at a shelter. |

| Couldn't help but shed some tears. Went ahead and watch some of the others that were shown on the bottom. Cried some more. What a gift it is to be able to be so calm around frightened dogs. We need more people like that. ~Joanne~
