Elton pees EVERYWHERE well I dont know what to do.. I keep trying to potty train Elton.. I have tried everything it seems. He will potty on his pee pad and it seems like every few minutes he hikes his leg and does little mini pees all over the house. I am constantly cleaning it up and I dont know what to do to make him stop.

I'm just curious, but have you had Elton neutered? All male dogs scent, but this sort of behavior is much more prominent in intact males. Besides taking away his urge to scent everything and make it his own, neutering him will reduce the risk of him getting cancer or diseases later on. Also, if you do not thoroughly clean the odor of his urine (to his nose, not yours) he will still be able to smell it and will continue to go to the places he visited before. Simple Solution is a really great product for cleaning and eliminating the odor of urine and excrement. Clean the odor away so that you can't smell it, and then clean it again to make sure that he can't. Dogs' noses are so much better than our own. Hope this helped!

No problem. It really should cut down on the number of times that he scents. Still, make sure you get all of his spots thoroughly cleaned! Even females scent, although they are not as destructive because they do not lift their little legs on valuable items (and they don't make bleached spots on the grass.) Also, every time you catch him in the act, yell at him and make him afraid! You don't have to hurt him, but make him jump and KNOW that you mean business. If your strong, deep, and commanding "NO!" is not enough to strike fear into his little Yorkie heart, sharply stomp your foot and make a few hurried steps towards him like you are going to rip him apart if you catch him (this ALWAYS does the trick with my little one, especially since she's a more timid specimen of the breed to begin with.) If you don't do this consistently every time you catch him, he will continue to be naughty. Dogs are just like children and they know that if they can get away with something once, they will try it again and ignore and laugh at your weak authority. I hope that everything goes well for you two. Good luck with him!!!
