OMG!! He is tooo cute!! How in the world did you teach him to rollover and play dead?? Dakota will not do it for anything...she likes having her belly rubbed, but runs off if i try rolling her over, and our trainer tried helping and now kota is a little weary of her. I wish dakota would do those, they are too cute.

Lots of treats and patience On the play dead... I would say... Play Dead and then put him in the position that I wanted him to be in. And say Play Dead while holding him there. ..... And before anyone freaks out, he was not pressure held, me or Jess just kept our hand over him while he got the jist of what was going on.

Same thing with roll over... we would get him to lay down then we would roll him over.


Find something that she really likes and only give it to her during trick learning time. Me and Jess would be the only ones in the room when training - that made a difference.
