Gellica Says "Out"!

We finally caught this on video! We trained her to say "out" when she needs to go. She's almost 3 years old.

The lighting is bad, but all you really need is your speakers.

Wow, that's cool! Glad you enjoyed the video. The funny thing is, the first time she says it, it always sounds clearer, but then she gets frustrated with me because I ask her to repeat herself (when I have the camera) and she's like "Gee Mom, I said it already, can't you understand English? Okay, put down the camera, I really have to go now"

Thanks for the replies. We are working on her saying "I Love You" right now. She has the syllables down, but we are working on the annunciation!

WOW how did you teach her that???? I would love to teach Gracie to do that! cant wait to hear the "I love you" thanks for sharing! way too cute!

I can absolutely picture her frustration with you. She says "OOOOUUTTTT" just like you trained her to say when she needs to go out. But instead, you run and get the "lightning maker" (as my storm phobia Shih Tzu refers to my camera) and start taking pics and vids. She has to gooooooooo......

Well, we've actually only had her for less than a year. She came to us back in July when she was 2 years old. She had this cute growl that sounded like she was trying to talk to us, and we would say to her "Outside?" and see her reaction. There were times when we couldn't figure out what she was trying to tell us so we just started asking her "Out?" and she would repeat it. She knows the difference between "Out", "Hungry", and "Play", but she'll only repeat "Out", and she tries to repeat "I Love You", but we are still working on that one!
