I thought Eddie was sooooo cute just following Rusty! They are buddies!

The close up of Rusty with snow on his face is so adorable!

Well, if we look past Rusty's obvious infidelity, we can learn a lot from that video. Look how happy all these dogs are, meeting up with strangers and romping happily, totally uninhibited. I think if people did that, we would be a lot happier....

As for Rusty, I think he's just a big flirt.

It's funny. The city Assembly decided they wanted to close fenced ball fields to dogs, and they've been discussing it on and off for a couple months. I had never thought of bringing dogs to fenced ball fields until I heard of that. So an online group decided to have a meetup at a fenced ball field before the Assembly passes a law against it.

It was a huge success. Probably 10 of the 13 dogs got along great and ran and ran and ran. A dobe and Rusty were a little shy, but they both improved over the course of an hour. And even though Eddie was a little small to roughhouse with them, even he relaxed a bit. And the other dogs learned to cut him some slack.

So now we gotta figure out how to keep access to fenced fields.

Terrific vid of 2 of 3. Rusty looks like he is having a good time, and very social. As for sweet Jack and the welcome home gift...way to go, Jack. He wanted to make the snow yellow too, Dad. And then there is Eddie, what a gem. Sweet kids, Mike.
