It's funny. The city Assembly decided they wanted to close fenced ball fields to dogs, and they've been discussing it on and off for a couple months. I had never thought of bringing dogs to fenced ball fields until I heard of that. So an online group decided to have a meetup at a fenced ball field before the Assembly passes a law against it.
It was a huge success. Probably 10 of the 13 dogs got along great and ran and ran and ran. A dobe and Rusty were a little shy, but they both improved over the course of an hour. And even though Eddie was a little small to roughhouse with them, even he relaxed a bit. And the other dogs learned to cut him some slack.
So now we gotta figure out how to keep access to fenced fields.
