I (and others) have found it almost impossible to get approved by rescues, since most of them have such stringent rules....so for you to be chosen so quickly, and from SO many applicants, really seems to be fate!!!

Good luck to you all....and I know that she will also always remind you of your mother...

I believe their was a devine hand in this, because of the timing and the fact that you couldn't have gotten a prettier girl. Prayers are still coming for your mom. Keep your chin up. It'll help your mom a lot if you can be strong for her.

Truly this all came about so that you could rescue each other. I am sorry for the loss of Newman and your mother's illness. I am sure you will find joy in the loving moments lil Lilly can provide. My baby was that small too when I got her. She was 1 lb at 8 weeks. Now she is 3 lbs at 5 months. Good luck with everything and prayer has been lifted up for you.

P.S. where did you get the cutie pie outfit?

Elaine, I have been hoping you would bring this little girl home. I think you both needed each other right now, and could not have been brought together at a better time. Just think of how safe and loved this defenceless little creature now feels, in comparison to what she has endured.
I've thought a lot about you since your original thread. Your situation has touched my heart. I know so well what you have gone through.

Lilly is a beautiful name, and she is just the most adorable little girl.
Enjoy her, and treasure every precious minute you have left with your Mom.

You certainly have a full plate and I'm so sorry for everything that's happening in your life lately. I'm sure your new addition along with the other two fur kids and your son will help you through more heartaches ahead. I will pray you find love and strength to help you.
