| Looks so cute. Bradley wont let us trim around his eyes at all. So I need to make a grooming day soon. Wish Bradley had the straight silky hair that I see most of your yorkies have but he is 1/2 poodle so lol. Still my cutie tho

Way cute!! My babies don't mind the groomer, I keep them in the puppy cut and in between the beauty shop, I give them a bath myself, they seem to love to be pampered by mom and are always good for me!

Thanks for all the sweet comments everyone. I think I'll take her for her next grooming in February, and in the meantime bathe her myself. I wonder what the secret is to making her not be a terror when I am brushing her or drying her... Oh and by the way everyone, the greenie I got from the vet...SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! There is nothing left of it...gotta get me some more!

Archie had his first groom today...and his hair was cut so short!!! He doesn't look like Archie at all! She did a good job around his face, except that he's got these bangs that go straight across his eyes! And the rest of his hair is so short!! I don't know if I can ever have him go to the groomer again. He used to look like a chubby teddy bear and now he looks like a mini-pinscher with a hair stuck to it!

Awwwww poor Archie. I'm sure he is still adorable as ever though. Some groomers just do what they want with these dogs and dont listen to the owners. I used to bring my German Shephard/Collie to a groomer for a trim and she would literally buzz cut her....needless to say it happened once and thank goodness it was in the summertime. We changed groomers after that. Luckily this groomer that did Dolce seems to be pretty good, I told her what I wanted and she totally listened to me.

Archie's got this evil look now. It's like he's got new eyebrows or something...he looks really skinny too. It actually looks like a bowl haircut around his head!!! I can't wait until his hair grows back. I'm never letting him get a haircut. He was shaking when I went back to pick him up and he was in a cage! Archie has never been in a cage before and when I got there, I picked him up, and he put his paws around my neck and I had to carry him home like that. Poor thing! I have to be extra nice to him now...because he looks so weird...probably makes him self conscious, and I feel bad for letting him get a bad haircut. Next time, only cleaning his ears and nails, and a bath. I'm not letting my dog look like a dork.

Good job Dolce! I think she just needs to get used to it, as with many other things, the more they do it, the easier it will be for them. Glad she liked the Greenie, my Yoda is chomping on one right now as I speak. Nothing can distract him away from his Greenie!

lickthestar try a different groomer. If they knew what they were doing you would like it. Also make sure you tell them what you want. Cecilia had a bad cut once. I hated it and have never taken her back there. But she has had cuts that I have loved at other groomers. Last edited by camillek; 12-12-2004 at 08:09 PM. Reason: spelling errors
