Introducing "Little Sophie" :c) Hello... We just picked up Sophie on Friday afternoon and have been enjoying this little baby so much this past weekend! She is 10 weeks old and her brother is General Patton here on Yorkie Talk~ I had such a good time at the Breeders meeting Maria and also seeing our babies- The puppies were precious. I feel blessed to have Sophie in my life now. I will say this...I can see a huge difference in a puppy coming from a breeder who let the puppies be part of day to day living like ours did. Sophie is so well adjusted to daily life..sounds..activities. She knows her name..runs to us when called..looks up at our face alot. We just love her calm and sweet nature. I have had such fun dressing her. Can't wait for bows..her hair barely lets me place a bow..lol Our kennel training is going well at night. She sleeps by my 17 yr. old daughters bed and has done so well..I wake early and get her to potty. She hasn't had an accident yet...but we go to bed late around here...usually 11:00 and I'm up at 5:00...its working well. The food I was sent home with from the breeder was Pedigree but this little girl didn't eat it at all. I went and bought some Royal Canin puppy and she inhaled it. Wow! She won't eat the wet either..only cruching away on the dry...so how easy has that been...gosh. I just am not certain how much she should be consuming..I'm kind of free feeding right now. I'm not sure how to post pictures...need to learn that...Villette...maybe you can help me? LOL I'm hopeful Sophie will grow long hair one day like some of these beauties on Yorkie Talk...I can use any tips... I did order the day to day shampoo and conditioner along with the ice on ice...it came yesterday. Can't wait to use them ....Sophie has a soft downy coat and the breeder did tell me that I'd have to be committed on the brushing. I ordered one of Chris's Systems brushes for her also... So nice to be part of this great group...I'm learning so much..and hopefully a pic will be posted soon...until then...you can go to the link below and click on NEW OWNERS and see both Maria and Patton, along with Sophie and us picking the pups up on Friday. http://mywebpage.netscape.com/yorkieluvver/index.html I look forward to getting to know all of you here! Melissa ( no longer waiting on Sophie! )

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'll be HAPPY to help you post pictures and CONGRATULATIONS! I went and looked at Maria and Gen Patton - that's a really nice website and everyone looks so happy ! How old is Sophie ? I would suggest getting a puppy tearless shampoo also...since you are going to be taking such special care of her coat - I use it on Cheri's face - she's a wiggler and I feel better using a tearless - then I use other shampoo for the rest of her body - When they get used to baths - then you can try the CC on the whole body....You'll love the Ice ...If you start dressing her - it's great for under their arms and bellies to prevent matting... Congrats ! ps...this can get you started on pics - they need to be resized to upload - http://bluefive.pair.com/free95.htm I'll pm you with more help but there is Posing pic help also at the top My Yorkie Section http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1994 if you get stuck (like I did when I first started here) pm me and I can step you thru it

Red98vett. General Patton thanks you for the nice compliment! He says he likes girls flirting with him, lol. But his momma says he's too young for this. ~Bella, General Patton & Maria~

Melissa, It was so nice meeting you and Heather on Friday. I am glad Sophie is doing well. Aren't they well adjusted? I am so happy. I am off this week(unexpected), so I am spoiling him(but not terribly bad, ok who am I kidding?). I will email you soon. I had put a thread the other day to update YT on General Patton's progress(under My Yorkie). One day soon we'll have to get together and have a puppy date. I took pictures, but are developing. ~Bella, General Patton & Maria~

Maria...glad to hear that General Patton is also doing well. I had to change Sophie's food. She isn't touching the Pedigree at all. She is on Royal Cannin now and gobbles it. LOL I'm happy she has some sort of food she likes. Hope Bella and Patton are getting along good. It was wonderful finally meeting you and seeing the Threesome! I enjoyed seeing Robbie and crew. Isn't she the Best?? How lucky are we? talk soon, Melissa and "Baby Sophie"....
