| Our Yorkie Adoption! New to Yorkie Talk Hello everyone! We have just adopted an 8 year old 4lb Yorkie named Rascal. His mom has 3 small children and just couldn't give him the love and attention he needed. So a friend of a friend put us in touch and I brought him home yesterday! He has done exceptionally well so far. He DID keep me awake quite a bit last night burrowing through my bed insisting I get out of his way. LOL Having a dog in the bed is NOT something I thought my husband would EVER go for but he fell in love with Rascal right away. I do have a few questions about rehoming and the best route to take but I'm sure I can find those answers by searching the board! I am a SAHM with 2 kids ages 5.5 years old and 7 years old. Rascal has done beautifully with them. And they are being so patient with him! Here are a few pictures of him! </IMG>

| If I can help with any questions feel free to ask. I did Yorkie rescue and I have 7 that stayed with me. You might want to do a search on collars on Yorkies. If you take your little one for a walk it is highly suggested to use a harness as a collar can harm their trachea's. It is alright to have the collar for ID purposes for around the house. Congratulations.
