My Kobe hates getting groomed. The groomer tells us to touch his feet everyday to get him use to it. We do, and he doesn't mind it, he just hates it when you bring scissors to it. Have any suggestions?

Aww poor kobe the groomer is right use the baby step sys. Do a little and let go and then a little more and lengthen the time each time. Don't let him down when he wants down, wait till he is calm and then put him down. Hope that helps.

I have used a dab of peanut butter in the roof of many of my grooming dogs...reward good behavior with a treat..if a dog freaks at the sound of scissors or clippers, let tehm hear these noises several times during the day to get them used to hearing it..good luck

I would let Rocky kinda sniff the scissors when I was going to groom him, then he would sit still for a while, but once he got ansy I would stop and let him check out the scissors. This definitly helped a lot.
