My little girl is finally home and in my arms! Soon as hubby shows me how to download my pics, I will post them!
She was so worth the almost thousand mile trip (both ways together). From eastern KY to eastern MO, and through miles of rain with my friends 3 year old, her 12 week old puppy and her grannys yorkie!
She is adorable and all girl! Eight weeks old, about 1 and 1/4 pounds. She goes to the vet tomorrow.
A big thanks to everyone responsible for bringing all this happiness back into my life!

The name Lida Rose is from a song in the "Music Man". I still remember the lyrics from 1974 when I was in high school.
Lida Rose, I'm home again Rose, to get the sun back in the sky.
Lida Rose, now everyone knows, about a thousand kisses shy.
Ding dong ding, I can hear the chapel bells chime,
Ding dong ding, at the least suggestion, I'll pop the question.

Woke up one morning with it in my head after finding out about my little girl, seemed to fit. I like unusual names, my hubby's chi is names Cosannah, found it on a tombstone, pre revolution, Irish name, we call her Cosee for short!
