Copper is Growing Up!

I love looking at pictures. He's a real cutie. Could you tell me how you get your pictures to appear in your posts?

No, He was 8 weeks old when we brought him home. We visited him at the breeders at 5 weeks, 6 weeks, and 7 weeks old. 8 weeks is still young, I know, but this is when the breeder sends his puppies home. My son got his Sampson from the same breeder at 8 weeks.

Thanks, we think he is top notch, too. I just copied the address and pasted it into the post.

Thanks. Do you have a Maltese? I thought I saw one in your Avatar. I just had to put my Maltese, Misty down about a month ago. She was 16 years old. We had one before her, Spook, who lived to be 15. They were great dogs. We decided to go with a Yorkie this time. What a difference in temperment! I think the Maltese is more of a one person dog, and the Yorkies seem to love everyone. I did love my little white furballs, though...I miss them. Little Copper has worked his way into our hearts already, though.

Yes, I have Chloe. She is 1 1/2. And now it seems I have acquired my mom's maltese, Lexi, too, she will be 1 very soon. So I have a house full. I have always had maltese growing up. I put my maltese "Baby" down 2 years ago. I got her when I was fourteen and she didn't leave my side (or my arms) until she was 14. It was very hard. I'm sorry to hear about your Misty. You are absolutely right about the temperment difference. We were not prepared for the personality of a yorkie. But she is fun and SMART! She is EVERYONE'S dog. My maltese, she loves everyone but she is definately MY dog (which I really like actually). Tinkerbell keeps me the busiest. Do you have pictures of your maltese? I love seeing maltese pictures too.

Here's my beauties, I am so proud of all of them.

Chloe is beautiful! My Spook was the first dog I ever had...I kept his coat pretty well until my kids came along and then shortly after that, we did a puppy cut. Misty had a puppy cut most of her life. Working full time and raising children made that necessary. I am sure I could dig up pictures...but I will have to do that at another time. My father passed away in January and my Mother is now on hospice. A lot of my pictures are burried under all of the estate things I have to go through and do something with. This is a difficult time for me, but this little Copper is helping me cope. He is my therapy, and working with him has been great medicine. He is asleep on my lap at the present time which is very unusual. I took him for a long walk this morning and then gave him a bath, so he is tuckered out!

Whispersmom just saw him!!!!!!!! Okay, I am gonna have to threaten a doggy-napping if I can find out where you live!!! He is a totally handsome boy!!! He looks a lot like my boy, Truffles, whom I just want to bite all the time!!! Isn't it fun watching Yorkie behavior coming out of these oddballs?? They amaze me and I love watching them. My boy, Snickers, is a sweetie,mommie's boy who has the funniest actions but still, they are all Yorkie!!

My daughter has a yorkie?silky...bought him for a yorkie, but he is 9 lbs...we are wondeing if she might be a silky instead. Her name is Snickers! She is beautiful and a really good girl!
