New to the site......... Hi all!!! I'm new here, so here goes. Not sure how to post pics, so gonna try that too. I have 2 yorkies: Muffy, 2 1/2 years old, weighs 9 lbs and is silver and tan, and I have a new puppy, Mia, 13 weeks old and weighs right @ 2 lbs right now. She's black and tan. She's a doll!!!! We have bred our older dog, and she had a great litter. I was wanting a tiny yorkie, and hoping that Mia will stay tiny. Can some of you post on the sizes of your yorkies and what size they were around 3 months old and how big they ended up getting? I'd really love to hear all that. Can't wait to get to know some of you. Hope to be here more often. God bless, Heather PS- I haven't quite figured out how to put in pics yet, so when I figure it out, I'll get their pics on here.

Welcome r4sons, Glad you came here to join in with YorkieTalk. It's a very nice site. Lots of sharing information about our babies. As you can see from my avatar, we have 2 little girls, ages 5 yrs & 7 yrs old, sisters with the same parents but 2 yrs apart. They weigh 5 lbs each. Looking forward to seeing pictures of Muffy and Mia. Have fun and welcome !

Hi and welcome. I'm fairly new to this site, as I'm a new yorkie owner. I got Hercules about 2 1/2 weeks ago and he's almost 3 months. He's weighing in at 2.2 pounds. So I can't give you any advice as to how big you should expect Mia to get. Although I've been told Hercules will probably be around 4 pounds when fully grown. But who knows! Can't wait to see pictures of your 2 girls!! Brandi

| Welcome, Heather!! You're braver than I ... don't think I could handle two! Our Toto is 16 months and 4 lbs. of neverending energy! She was 16 weeks when we bought her and she weighed 1 lb. 8 ozs. ... I know they have a "rule of thumb" to try and estimate weight but I'm not sure what it is! One thing I am certain of ... regardless of the estimates and expectations, you are so attached after 5 minutes with these babies, there is nothing that could pry them away from you!! Looking forward to hearing about your babies!!

Our two babies were only 8 oz. each when we got them at 10 wks old. With them being 2 yrs apart, it got me used to their energy. Toto's Mom is right, in minutes, you're attached and nothing can pry them away from you. Having 2 is twice the fun !! We'd love to have more but having one in each hand is enough, that way they get equal attention. The older one has always played the "motherly" roll towards her little sister, and its so cute to watch them together. We love them and it gives a new meaning to " A Bundle of Joy ".
