LOL. I don't remember that. Maybe that's why I didn't get kissed until junior year of high school!

I have the original Canon Digital Rebel, 6.3 megapixels. It's since been upgraded a couple times, and there's a 10 megapixel version at Costco for $799. The 70-300mm telephoto that I use almost exclusively for Yorkie pix cost another couple hundred dollars.

I usually try to discourage people from the Rebel unless they consider themselves to be a serious amateur or better. First of all, it's been and clunky, not something you can slip in a purse. And has a lot of cool features that are wasted if you don't understand how aperature and shutter speed work together, etc.

I haven't kept up with the best cameras for people who aren't seriously into photography. Things I'd look for, though, are a megapixel rating of 5 or better, an optical zoom of 6 or better and a viewfinder other than the LCD screen.

I just remembered how the saying goes now. If you rub a dandelion under your chin and the yellow comes off on you then it means you told a lie.

Crazy the things people and kids use to do. The lazy days of summer........I miss them.
