| Hailee off to boarding!!! UGH! My baby is off to be boarded. I hate, hate, hate leaving her. Please pray that she will be ok - if you happen to think about it. She will be there for 10 days. She will be staying at our vet's boarding facility which is beautiful. She will be with my oldest daughter's dashund. My husband loves to go on cruises and I feel like I can't say no to him because he loves it so much. I would love to take vacations where I can take her with us. Will she remember us? Will she be traumatized? Our two dogs will share a room that is about 5'x5' and they will have their own beds from home and toys and treats. I can't even make it sound good to me... Anyone gone through this? Here's a pic we took of Hailee today:

| Do they have someone there around the clock? If so I'm sure she will be just fine, and she will be in good hands since it's at the Vets. Go and enjoy yourself and ask hubby to let you have the next pick at where you will go on vacation. |

| We like to cruise too and our dog did very well, but he was glad to see us when we got back. The staff spoiled him rotten (if that were possible) and I was told they argued about who would take him potty. I missed him terribly and the only way to find out how he was doing was by email that took forever because phone service is not always available at ports and non existant on most ships not to mention the expense. She should be fine and having a buddy with her will make it even better. So take a deep breath and enjoy yourself. She is at the vet so if any emergency comes up she is covered. She may even enjoy her stay meeting all the new doggies. Enjoy your cruise and tell us about it when you return. |

| She will be just fine, I'm sure. It sounds like a great setup, and she even has a friend to hang out with! Have a fun and relaxing cruise!

| I know how you feel! Your baby is adorable! At least she will be with a dog she knows. Try to enjoy yourself...you can call while you're on vacation to check on her (can't you? I'm not a 'cruise' person!). Tell your husband that next year, YOU get to choose the vacation and you want to take Hailee too!!! |

| I feel for your nervousness. My husband and I are crusing through Alaska in July for our 1-year anniversary (we got married on a cruise as well), and I do NOT want to have to board Sukoshi anywhere. We've only had to board her once so far, and they told us that she did very well. It was only for about a day and a half though, so I guess that doesn't compare to Hailee's upcoming stay. I'm sure the vet will take good care of her though, and at least you have the comfort of knowing that she's at the vet's, so they'll be sure to keep an extra eye on her medically. I'm sure it will go well. Try to relax and enjoy your trip! |

| Oh Jan I will gladly take your girl anytime if you were close . . . but am sure it will be alright, especially since she is sharing a space with someone she already knows. I am sure she will have an enjoyable time socializing while you are away. . . .I am more worried about YOU because I know your mind will NOT be on the cruise Please enjoy these moments with your dear hubby it is only 10 days perhaps out of the rest of the year where your main focus is your little angel. Have a wonderful and fun trip and cannot wait to see lots of pictures Haillie is gorgeous . . . love the picture |

| Ohh poor you! I DO understand what you're feeling!! I have only boarded Vixxen one time and it was when we went to Hawaii!! I cried my eyes out and I called her everyday! She also stayed at Lexxi's neurologist office and I trusted them 100% - because Lexxi was sick, she always got to board on the nursing side, which means people are there 24/7 and Vixxen got to share her kennel so she lucked out! I know your baby will be fine...she will miss you as much as you miss her! Be prepared though...Vixxen totally shined me until the day after I got home!! We went straight from the airport to pick her up, in the limo, and she wouldn't even look at me!!! Yup, she was mad. But she was normal the next day! Good luck! We now have one here where you can log onto the internet and watch them on the webcam - plus they have a plasma tv and all the luxeries in their sweet Sounds nuts, but I would absolutely use this place!!! Haha!
