| Does your puppy have this habit too? Hello everyone, Sparky likes to eat his puppy pad all the time. At the begining, we thought that he was just playing with it, until I saw it from his poo. My godness, he swallowed it We were thinking to spray some bitter apple juice on the puppy pad, but we are afraid that he won't pee on the pad after we do so. Do you have any ideas to solve this problem? |

| Gucci used to bite the pee pad at the beginning. I used to give her a stern NO and I even got a puppy pad holder. It was a waste of money cause she figure how to scratch it out. Finally she grew out of this behavior. Gucci really just chew at it, she never swallow it. If your pup swallows it you need to be very careful cause he cant get obstructed to the point to need surgery. I dont want to scare you, but just keep an eye of your pup everytime he goes potty. I hope he stops this habit soon. Keep giving him a ster NO when you see him chewing at it. Good luck. |

| I would think that the bitter apple woul deter him from using the puppy pad altogether. I'm not sure...good luck!!

| When we first got Maggie, she liked to drag her pads throughout the house and would chew on them but never swallow anything off of them. |

| You can buy a frame that hold the pad down and deters your yorkie from dragging and chewing on his pee pee pad. However, if your yorkie is really determined like Marie's, it is useless. |

| My Romeo tore his pad to shreds once while we were at work...I got one of those frames and he's been fine with it since..Worth the $10 it cost.
