Thanks for the kind words, the great advice and, yes, even the Ford jokes! I am gonna look around for seat covers.

It's only a '98, but it's the first time in my life I bought a vehicle I wanted, not just one I could afford. There's just something missing in a guy's life without a truck, Ford or not!

Good point! Plus they like having good footing in case there's a moose that needs to be barked at right away as we're driving by!

I drive a F-150 lariat supercab and I have to lay a rug across the back seat (not a rug that has a foam backing) if I just hook them to the seat buckle instead of putting them in the car seat. I hate our back seat. OUr truck is a 99. We ordered it bran new in 98 because it was the first year to come out with four doors instead of three. However the back seat in the newer trucks are so much bigger and better than ours. We are selling the truck so I can get either a Lexus RX 350, or a Toyota Highlander.

Oh, sure, even people who own F-150s are trashing them! LOL. I still like it, but I know what you mean about the back seat. It's pretty worthless, and I have the 3-door '98. I see that as just a bonus. I wasn't looking for an extended cab, so this is better than nothing. I like your idea about the rug. I hadn't thought about their backseat comfort.

LOL, only because I spoil them and let them stay in the front seat most of the time. It will only be when I have a passenger that I condemn them to the back!

Or may be you need "roo bars" (although obviously they'd be moose bars in your case!) that's what they have on trucks in the Australian outback - in case of close encounters of the kangaroo kind. Maybe Eddie would be happier with roo bars - knowing he could mow down any errant moose.

Quit ganging up on me, you guys! You already jinxed me. I hopped out today and the "door ajar" light stayed on. Only the door was closed. Now the alarm is ding, ding, dinging even when the key's not in.

The salesman sounds hung over. He's supposed to be dropping by work and fixing it. I'm not too happy with him. I picked it up with an empty tank. And there's no paperwork. I'm driving around without a registration. UGH.

Hey Jack and Eddie!!! Do not let these "Ford Bashers" get you down!!! You look absolutely handsome and ... cute! in that Ford!! I am a woman with very fond memories of my youth, times spent in a ford......... oops, said too much!!! I have a Ford Escape now, and my pups luv it. The center console has a lookout bed for the Yorkies to lay in. Nappy luvs it, AprilLove pants alot.. lol. I lay a blanky in the back seat for the older dogs so they don't slide around. Proud to be a Ford Owner!!!! lol
