| update on dukes liver shunt so we went yesterday to see the specialist. after running 2 more tests on duke. he does has at least one liver shunt. the specialist knows more when he does the surgery in 6 weeks. the reason the specialist wants to wait 6 weeks. he wants duke to gets stronger for it. meanwhile he is going to be on special diet.we going to pick duke up today. the clinic kept him over night. just the tests alone is going to cost 800 dollars. the surgery is another 1600 dollars.so please before you buy a new puppy . make sure they run a bile acids test on it.the test cost around 40 dollars. don't suffer the heartbreak and expense ,we have to go through. keep duke in your prayer thank you |
