| ![]() I have written them all down and will wait till my husband can see them this weekend and show him the meaning of the ones that came with the suggested names. I'd like to know how to pronounce Kamili, Zaria and Nuri. Keep them coming for anyone new and if any of you that have replied think of anymore. I want it to be the RIGHT name. I've wanted a Yorkie my whole like and would have really liked a Brewer (I believe that is what they are called) but just could not spend that much of my inheritance on a new puppy. Since my kids won't speak to me or my son will not let me see his son and step-daughters and I don't hear from them on my birthday, last Sunday I told everyone at my grandson's Birthday Party that my parents bought me my Yorkie as my birthday present, which was the following day, this year! As I used some of my inheritance money to purchase her. I have guardianship on my 4 year old grandson and have raised him since birth. My grandson is such a handful and I'm not sure what to do but my new Puppy brings me lots of happiness. Just wish she wasn't scared of me and runs from me. My question now is - she was sent home with a very small amount of Eukanuba and was told to use a spoonful of cottage cheese and a drizzle of corn syrup and to slowing take away the corn syrup and cottage cheese. My husband fixed the first few feedings -I had to buy more food and I fixed like 4 to 6 feedings and then I just put some in a bowl and put down next to what I feed my mixed puppy and she is now eating. All she did to the mixture was lick up the liquid and not eat too many pieces of food. I understand what the corn syrup is for but do you really need to use it if she is eating good? And, what is the best food to feed both my dogs? I met a lady with a male Yorkie that was adorable and his hair around his face was well groomed and very smooth but his body hair had not been groomed in quite some time and was matted and it made it hard for me to pet him and feel that - and then she told me she has several Yorkies and one of her females just hasn't been ready and she is turning 2 soon and she felt that she would be ready this time to get pg and have baby's cause she plans on selling them. I felt that she shouldn't be allowed to raise them if she couldn't keep their hair combed or get them groomed regularly. I felt so sorry for that little boy cause I know it has to hurt to have your hair all matted. She also told me her Vet gave her a list of Dog Foods that you should not feed your dogs and that she uses is Science Diet and that is not one of the brands I have seen on all the sites I have been to of people breeding and selling Yorkies use. Thank you all for your names and I'd appreciate what you all have to say about this puppy's diet and what food you all feed your Yorkies. I'm still not sure what her name will be, but I know I need to decide very soon so she won't start thinking it's puppy, sweet pea or sweetness. LOL THANK YOU !!!! |

| ![]() What a cutie pie! How 'bout Aiden? I was considering it when I got Ginger. It's Irish and means little fiery one.

| ![]() I have not had time to do anything and I just remembered promising you all that I would tell you what I ended up naming my little girl. I went with my first name Zoe. It just sort of fit after all. She is a fist full of P and Vinegar. She's adorable and even though I did my research and thought I was buying from the right people I have had two problems and the first being that she was not socialized with people at all and took some time getting use to us humanites. My main problem is - She had a bath and obviously had been combed out when we got there because her two male litter mates seemed much larger and rounder. The reason being - the day I picked her up had to have been her 1st and only bath and comb job. I have trying to comb her or brush her anything and she seems to have been traumatized by it or something and she fights so hard against it I'm afriad I will hurt her. My Vet gave me the name of a really nice lady that does the grooming out of her home and has had 1 appt scheduled but needed to be canceled for one reason or the other and I have yet to get a brush/comb thru her. I will be reschuling her really soon to start her off early. I know it will take quite a while to get this little girl to even come close to holding still to get combed let alone a hair cut. I got to see the kennel's that day--both parents and all the other males and females and the other 2 male litter mates so they were not trying to hide anything but most definately was being run for money and not for the love of dogs. Thank you all for all your suggestions then I went ahead and went with my original name anyway. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!! ![]() |
