Took my girls for a bike ride!
 
It was a VERY hot day yesterday when we went cruising. Today is even hotter. Quite unsual for us on the coast. We generally have cool temps.

OMG!!!! LOL!!!! I am TOTALLY LOVING those little pink helmets they've got on their heads!!!! :D :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: Where ever did you find them? :p Those are TOOOO cute!!! And what a beautiful picture as well! :thumbup:

Well the bike is called "Classic". It also has on it EST Treck 1976. It's aluminum and wont rust. It's a 27" 50's style. I even had a bell attached. :)
There is also a very inexpensive model called a cruiser, but it's not made well at all. Mine was a little over $200.00. You see this style on all the CA. beaches and with baskets and pups. People love biking, and love taking their dogs.

Yes, the girls are wearing doggie helmets. :) Here is where I ordered them from. And they are extra small size.

LOLOL I LOVE IT !!! That's ridin in STYLE and they look TOO Freakin cute in their little helmuts !! hahaha that made my day - I'm so jealous ! I'd get mugged if I rode a bike with 2 yorkies where I live

the closeups are FANTASTIC !! What happy little faces they have !!

Oh, what fun!!! I just ordered a basket for my bike and cannot wait to take the babies out for a ride:) Thanks for sharing the great pics!

It's really common to see pupsters in baskets, especially the beach areas. The classic bikes are really popular. The baskets fit on the large handlebars much better. Some of the bikes with gears have too many cables and short handlebars to accommodate a really good basket. Besides, I LOVE the 50's. I was a teen ager in the 50's and FUN IT WAS!!!

Thank you for sharing your pics. You know, that's what it's all about. You are out enjoying the sunshine and fresh air, and the Yorkie kids are thoroughly enjoying themselves.

I LOVE those pics! They look like they're having a blast, and those helmets are way cute.

(I am a little miffed that you're posting pictures of bike rides when we still have 3 feet of snow on the ground and temps in the teens!)
