Groomer in San Diego Hello my Luda Butt is 4 months and im almost ready for him to get a haircut but I have seen some very ugly haircuts on Yorkies and IM very picky about what I want!! I do NOT like the shaved summer cut and thats what I see alot of... I just want him to be trimmed and even all over basically... I want them to use scirros to cut his hair because I dont want to cut the length.. I really want someome good at doing their paws it always seems to short!! The ears are important I took him to petco today and I like his ears except they are kind of uneven but they still look OK im sure there is better out there! If anyone knows of a groomer who really listens to what you want plz let me know and the price thanks! IM willing to pay for good work!

i do my own grooming and i too give toby the puppy cut, but it is all year round......... i just wanted to let you know that trimming all over with scissors is A LOT of work, many groomers use shavers with various attachments because it is faster and it looks more even, when you use scissors it is a lot harder to get that nice groomed evenly look...... why dont you call and ask around at the grooming places near you and see what they are like, would they lsiten to what you are asking for? do they have any pictures that you can look at of dogs that they have groomed?? and remember, hair grows back

hey girlie, long time no talk! but i groom Oreo & Ginger myself. clippers, scissors and the whole 9 yards, they do a pretty good job. i'm just waiting on some bows I ordered for Ginger so they could match her outfits (like 2 two i have for her lol) I have a big Wahl Clipper set.. and i plan to buy a way smaller Wahl Clipper set (For the paws, butt, wee wee area and eyes.) So far I cut their hair first, trim it how i like it.. then shampoo, then wash, then conditioner then wash .. then i put ice on ice leave in conditioner and comb their hair how i want it.. and if i see fly aways i always cut it.. they are pretty good about it .. most of the time...
