| Im back with a NEW puppy our newest addition to the family.. We can get him this weekend.. We are unsure of his name yet LOL Denver,Diesel,or Jorden..... But isnt he a cutie? He is 8 weeks old! He was the runt of the litter he was 1.2lbs isnt that small? he fits in the palm of your hands!! Ok someone told me on another site that puppies whos ears stand up at such an early age means they are going to be small is that true? Anyone else heard that? Question: Does anyone know about pet insurance? We didnt have it with our other dogs but i interested what can you all tell me about it? Last edited by Pmoore; 02-19-2007 at 06:20 PM. | Congrats on your new baby. He is such a cutie pie! I have VPI pet insurance, the standard plan. Fortunately I have not used it yet. I got it for peace of mind as this is my first puppy and my first Yorkie. It will cover the big expenses, but not the routine shots etc. My vet gave me a better deal on the puppy things than VPI's top plan could.

| He is so cute. When I got N'Stein at 10 weeks he was 1,8 lb, now he is almost 3 years old and he weight 4 lbs. He is insured with Pet Plan for accident.

| He certainly is gorgeous! I agree that it can be so difficult to choose a name. With poor Topher we went through 3 or 4 names the first couple of weeks before we found the one that 'fit'. With Sophie on the other hand, it was obvious from the get-go that there was only ONE name for her! It might take a while, but you will find the one that suits his personality best. I've never heard that about the ears before...I'm no expert, but I don't think there's really any way to predict what size your pup will be as a full grown adult. Topher's breeder said that even though he was going to be above standard, he would be around 8-9lbs...he's 13+ lol. Every ounce of him is a snugglebunny, though. Congratulations on your new family member!! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | What a cutie!! I like the ears being up young but I don't think it has anything to do with size. I have the VPI insurance and have unfortunatley had to use it several times. It definately helps when you have a sick yorkie like Cali and gives peace of mind.
