I agree that it can be so difficult to choose a name. With poor Topher we went through 3 or 4 names the first couple of weeks before we found the one that 'fit'. With Sophie on the other hand, it was obvious from the get-go that there was only ONE name for her! It might take a while, but you will find the one that suits his personality best.

I've never heard that about the ears before...I'm no expert, but I don't think there's really any way to predict what size your pup will be as a full grown adult. Topher's breeder said that even though he was going to be above standard, he would be around 8-9lbs...he's 13+ lol. Every ounce of him is a snugglebunny, though.
