| Biting Baby I am looking for help. I have had Sky for nearly a month now (she is 15 weeks) and she terrorizes poor Jeter. She will not stop biting him. Thank goodness he has a great temperment and puts up with her. ( he is over 1 1/2 yrs). He weighs 9 pounds and she is 1.7 pounds. Is this normal? Why can't they just play nice? She steals EVERY toy he picks up...right out of his mouth. Sky never stops. She will bite him for hours if I let her, but I rescue Jeter from her. Any suggestions and advice? I don't want Jeter to hate her. How can something so darn cute be so darn mean??? |

| well puppies bite and when they are around other puppies.. those puppies bite back to let the other guy know.. hey that hurt... but your poor Jeter is such a kind little guy.. he won't put her in her place... so she just walks all over him i wish i knew what to do... i only know that (well from experience) if Jeter ever nips at her or growls to warn her... dont' get mad at him... he is letting her know that he is in charge and is not enjoying the biting! that should make her stop. |

| Uma outweighs JuJu by at least a pound, and she is five and a half years younger! At first I was concerned be cause Uma seemed to always be biting JuJu. I began to notice that JuJu would actually instigate the play if Uma did not! I think if the baby gets too rough, which they sometimes do, the older pup will correct them gently. Just my experience.

| Thanks for your input. I just can't believe how tolerent Jeter is. I keep expecting him to stand up for himself, but he just lets her bite away. He doesn't growl, or nip, or do anything. He even sometimes rolls over onto his back and puts himself in a very vulnerable position. He is such a good boy. Just wish she was better. |

| Cindy, So you are saying there are calmer times in the future? Thank goodness!!! Jeter appreciates that info. Sky actually chokes on hair that she has pulled out of his body. Your little Eli is beautiful, she is going to make some gorgeous babies. Sky sends puppy kisses and can't wait to be re-united with her sister. Look at this face....how can it be soooo bad?? |

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | Sheryl ~ Mozart feels Jeter's pain! lol We have the exact situation here. I marvel at how such a sweet Yorkie can bully a 28lb dog! He will NOT reprimand her in any fashion, and so we end up rescueing him. Sometimes (this is so sad) he puts his head in a corner to keep her from getting to it! He won't even try to play with toys, because she takes them right out of his mouth. She's such a little monster with Mo, and he's such a gentle soul.

| We can so relate to this! Wrigley is 7 months and 3lbs, Crosley will be 5 on Sunday and 16lbs and the little one rules her! She's always biting her legs as she tries to walk, grabs onto her ears, beard, you name it! Thank goodness she only has a nub of a tail or Wrigley would have made it one! Wrigley will steal all the toys right out of her mouth and she stockpiles them and lays on them. She doesn't even want to play with them, she just doesn't want Crosley to have them! Crosley will sometimes growl and do a small nip at her, but most of the time she just walks away, tries to hide and gives up! I feel so bad for her at times! I think alot of it is just puppiness and she will calm down! |

| Wow, I just posted this same thing on here a few days back as I am going thru the same thing. Kamari terrorizes Kodak and bites his tail and hangs on it. She will even try to bite at me when I make her stop. This is like Dejavue! BTW, she's a cutie!
