| Foods.. Good or Bad? When purchasing a dog food for your puppy it's really important to read the ingredients label and to understand what the ingredients are. This link explains the harmful ingredients that are used to preserve most dog foods. (http://www.groomers.com/tidbits/food.html ) Any foods that contain "by-products" of any kind of meat are a "no no". Here's a link that compares some dog foods. (http://www.feedmypet.com/dog-food-comparison.html) I just took my puppy off of Purina Puppy Chow(his breeders started him on that) and put him on Royal Canin.(http://www.royalcanin.co.uk/) I hope my info has been helpful. |

| If you want high quality food to start your puppy off, i'd say try these: **Innova (I highly recommend) Canidae California Natural www.naturapet.com this is where you can find more information about Innova. and this is where you can find out more information as to ingredients in foods you should avoid. http://www.mordanna.com/dogfood/index.php?page=identify the only reason why i don't like IAMs is because they use their poor animals as lab rats and watch them die. www.iamscruelty.com and if i'm not mistaken Eukanuba is in part with IAMs.. not to offend anyone, just my opinion on them. |
