Absolutely - she just got fixed right before Christmas so I had all my Christmas holidays to keep an eye on her. She did really well - was up and running around like nothing had happened the next morning. She also had 12 teeth pulled and was chewing on her bone a little the next day. Like I said, she's a tough little cookie! I was worried about her too - but I had to trust my vet. They have lots of experience with small dogs - two days after ruthie had her surgery they had another yorkie girl who was a few ounces bigger than ruthie and had 10 teeth removed!

It's up to you - I can certainly understand your fears - but if you're comfortable with your vet - and THEY are comfortable doing the surgery, then I'm sure everything will go fine!

Hi Janice. They both are to die for !!! And Ruthie is as small as last time I saw her during our meetup. I bought a 9m old girl yesterday and she seems giantic in comperison with your sweet baby

oh their coloring is sooo nice. i love the colors of the older one. frankie face and mouth is more like the smaller one. but when do they start turning color like that? the only part of frankies head is turning silver but the rest of his face is copper but his back is still completely black. do all yorkies (with the exclusion of certian ones) turn this way, or do some stay black and copper? thanks
