It sounds to me like once again, God does answer prayer, but on His terms, in His way, His will is done. I'm a huge believer in miracles because I've lived through God's grace so I believe he knew exactly what he was doing through all this, from the moment little Ella came into your lives, right through this morning and that little darling you've named Nessa. But I think you can trust that God meant for Nessa to be with you. Maybe from the beginning YOU got it wrong when you picked Ella, or maybe Nessa had already gone to her new family and so you never saw her. Maybe Ella was an old soul whose whole job on this earth was to put you and Will in a frame of mind where you would learn about the generosity of strangers, learn about the power of forgiveness and learn to trust that God really does know best. The Lord said when you love the least of his creatures, you also love him and through this, you and Will have proven your love. Oh, what a wonderful gift you've received. From tragedy to a new baby! Praise God

Nessa is one lucky little yorkie. I was going to suggest Milagros(miracle in spanish ) but I like the name Nessa.

What a blessing indeed for you, your boyfriend, and Nessa. She looks like a feisty little thing. Enjoy her!

oh, I love her!! She looks so much like Maggie did when I brought her home (colorings, anyway). she is so incredibly sweet looking. How old is she again??
