Hi! New Here! Hi Everyone! My name is Penny and I am Chloe's mama (I see there is another Chloe here too! ) My Chloe is 10 months old and she is a Yorkie-Poo (half Yorkie, half Poodle). Anyone else have a breed like this? I am a first time pet owner and truly LOVE the experience and can't wait to expand on my brood!

She is cute, lol. She looks like my yorkipoo when she's wet. I actually have two yorkipoos and they look so different from each other. One takes more after the poodle, and the other takes more after the yorkie. I love them to pieces.

Jiggity- Her curls aren't hard to brush out at all. Her hair is very soft and silky. However the older she gets (she's only 5 1/2 months), the thicker and longer her hair gets. Her hair is SO THICK! And about 5 inches long now. The worst part of her maintainence is her hair in her ears, and around her butt, belly, and paws. I have to clean her almost every time she goes potty. She is due for a grooming and a trim as we speak. It would be alot easier for me if I got her hair cut, but it's so beautiful I just can't do it. She just wouldn't be the same, lol. My other yorkipoo is nothing like her. Although he has had hair loss issues and I'm still not sure what he is supposed to look like. It's still growing.

Thank you SO MUCH for the warm welcome everyone!! Chloe and I are so excited to be here ! As for her hair, I found that it's just as unruly as she can be sometimes--hehe. I try to do my best to keep it trimmed and neat, but I too always have to clean her little behind every single time she goes to the bathroom. I have on occassion THOUGHT she was clean only to be surprised when I pick her up and snuggle her and smell something off. But she is worth any of the hard work and smells I have to put up with!!

Gotta love those little suprises, lol. Minni's hair on the insides of her legs and her tummy has gotten so long and thick that when she squats to pee, it gets all in her hair. It's horrible. She just got fixed a couple of weeks ago and they shaved her. It's been nice. I think I'm going to have to keep her underside pretty well cut from now on. It's alot of work cleaning her after every potty session. But as you say, they are worth it!
