| I'm soo Behind the times! I just saw your other thread about curing Eddie's moose-phobia. So had to come and check out this thread! OMG how scary. Tho if it'd been Dougal rather than the Eddie dog I wouldn't have had a chance to scoop him up! Dougal would have sized up the moose (with his yorkie brain where Dougal thinks Dougal's about the size of an elephant) and thought "I can take him!" and run up to him barking his head off! (He's done it to horses and every dog that's significantly bigger than him.) Dixie would have done exactly what your lab did. "Bark bark bark"! then run back to me as if to say "ok mum, I've softened him up for you - you can do the rest." Mooses are cool tho!

| OMG, how frightening this must have been for you! I've had a few close calls with cougars and bobcats but no moose yet. (thank heavens) They're so aggressive and you're so lucky you were able to scoop up the boys so quickly. Hopefully Eddy will recover and not be too afraid next time he goes out....though I can't say I blame him! That moose was close! Take care |
