| Newbie I am new to the website. Unfortunately I am at work, so I can't post any pictures of my yorkie. I have a 3 month old Yorkie. Her name is Molli and she weighs 4.6 lbs. I love her to death! She is very spoiled and loving. She is a great dog. I will post pictures when I can! I was wondering, is her weight normal at her size? We walk a mile everyday together so she can get enough exercise. Kelly |

| new yorkie owner i have been a yorkie owner now for 4 weeks of a 10wk old boy named halo. i got him at 6 wks and i have enjoyed watching him grow up. halo just seems to think he runs the other two dogs which are outside. he barks and growls, doesn't like when they chase each other. he's only 2.1 lbs and the german shepards are 45 and 80 lbs. it's so funny watching him try to take over. i am getting him a playmate on friday the 13th but she will be very young. um........hope to find this website very informational. i already have pictures of halo in the gallery i posted on the 9th of this month. any helpful hints on the feeding amount and how often will be great. my fiancee says i dont feed him enough, but i dont want to over feed him. is 4 time a day every 3-4 hours, a spoonful too much. this is what he suggests. please help me. thank you.

| Welcome Kelly & Molli - can't wait to see pictures so we can put a face to another sweet Yorkie!!! As far as "normal weight" - that's an interesting question in the yorkie world. All yorkies seem to be unique & that is one of the reasons I love this breed so much - it's fun to see all of the different faces & bodies on these little guys! Kodah is 1lb 5oz at 16 weeks ! |
