| Introducing Us Hello! I am Ciara and I live in Yuma, AZ. Well lets get to the puppy part, her name is Bella. Shes a adorable 8 week old Yorkie. She arrives at my house on Tuesday! I just have one quick question about feeding... Q: In a book I am reading, It says Yorkies needs lots of nutrients because there bodys are so small. They reccomend mixing wet and dry food together. Do any of you feed this way? And if not what do you feed your pups? Q: Where are good websites/shops to buy Yorkie clothes? I have glanced at a few sites but havent found anything I really like. Thanks, Ciara. P.s I have pics if anyone want to see her!!

Hello and welcome. Congrats on your new fur baby Bella. Mixing the wet with dry kibble is fine. The important and great thing is that Bella is eating and growing on a nutritious diet. In a thread called "FAQ"'s posted in the general forum there is a section that lists gobs and gobs of sites to find great outfits for Bella, here is the link... http://yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6016 Yes, we love pictures around here so post all the pics you'd like. Again, welcome!!

| Hi Ciara. Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I fed Stewie wet & dry until he was about 20 weeks (sorry, that's how I measured it) and now he just eats dry.

| Hi Ciara and welcome to YT! I feed Mojito wet food (completely raw chicken, millet/grains and veggies) mixed with dehydrated raw food and he loves it. I tried a couple of other canned foods and this is what he's liked best. From what I've heard from fellow Yorkie parents and read on the site, you should try a couple of different foods and see what she likes best! As for dry food, he didn't take to it at all -- he would actually eat around the dry food to get to the wet!! Good luck and let us know how it goes! -Mojito & Irmi |
