I just had to show you guys my new baby! After driving almost two hours I wasn't sure what I would find. I was so anxious and nervous. After we arrived as soon as she was let down she came running to me, her litter mate went the other way. I knew the minute I met her that she's was exactly what I was looking for. She's so personable, smart and cute too! We just love her. She's 12 weeks old, crate trained and doing great with potty training. They did a great job starting her. I feel so lucky

I can't Thank All of You YTer's enough for all your help, I read everything I could before I placed my first call. I felt like at least I had made some decisions about what I was looking for. You've taught me so much, but I've still got a lot to learn.

One more thing.......She doesn't have a name yet

Any Ideas?

or ((SCOOTER)) because she scooted right to you..

Thank you all so much for your warm wishes. All the names were good suggestions too.
We finally decided on a name this morning.

Maddi

It was the one and only name that the whole family liked. She got her first bath last night. We trimmed her ears and taped them up. The kids all laughed and my husband felt sooo sorry for her. He apoligized to her for my behavior, but assured her that I meant well and that she would love me anyway. LOL!! I'm hopeful that her ears go up but if not, we will love her none the less

Congratulations on your new baby, Maddi -- she is a living doll.

The taping of the ears is just the first of a never-ending list of things that you will "do" to your baby for her good and the "beg" for forgiveness. Funny how it always rests on Mom's shoulders to take care of the "unpleasant" tasks.

Congrats!! I know how you feel...Peanut has been with us for 1 week now. It took us several days (and about a thousand names) before we finally decided. At 7 weeks old, I didn't think he would have much of a personality...boy was I wrong! After about a day and a half, he was all over the place and Peanut just seemed to fit. I'm sure you will come up with the perfect name for your perfect angel!
