Birdies Picture Hi everyone, I finally figured out how to get pictures on the aviator. Now to fingure out how to put pictures in the post. It has only taken me 2 months to get this far. Hope you enjoy Birdies Picture. Since taken she has had a litter of 3 girls and 1 boy. They are a month old now. She is wanting to quit nursing them. Is this normal?

Weaning Hey, My Roxie started weaning her pups at about 5 weeks. Just watch and gradually start adding a warm mixture of softened puppy food and cottage cheese to their diet. As long as they are continuing to gain weight and look otherwise healthy and happy, you can trust that mommy knows best. Tami

Birdies picture Thanks for the reply. I guess I just kept seeing them as babies and wanted to keep them that way. My mom raised dogs for 20 years and keeps telling me they are only dogs(I think she says that so I wont be so hurt when we have to sell them) and know what is best. I called her after I posted and she said what you did. Imagine that.....This is our first litter and have had a very enjoyable first time. Birdie is such a good mom. Dad wont have anything to do with them and we laugh when he runs from them. Thanks again.
