| My little escape artist So as you know Gracie has spent this last week with my parents and my dad who works out of the garage at our house has let her stay out in the kitchen with our other dogs (who are locked in the kitchen with a baby gate) Well my dad came into the kitchen and heard dozer whining at the gate and he went over to it and saw gracie sitting on the other side....she had chewed through the gate...and not to eat the plastic but to escape..because their was a pile of plastic pieces...from the gate...she wanted out...did any of your dogs plan an escape move like this???

| Oh! I teared up when I read this!!! My little Gracie (RIP my angel!) did the same thing!!!! We had to get a baby gate with coated metal mesh!! Lexy seems content to sleep in her crate and really doesn't seem to want to sleep with us like Grrracie did! I'm hoping she will when she gets bigger! |

| LOL...Maddie didn't chew through the gate, but managed to climb over it. We called her the little escape artist because she'd always find a way out! I used to put her in a playpen, but she figured out how to escape that too. These yorkies are too funny! My daughter's yorkie chewed through the baby gate twice! |

| WOW - she was sure determined she wanted out, LOL. Strong little teeth for sure and I hope she didn't cut her mouth or break any teeth chewing on that hard plastic. Have to give her credit for all that determination, that is kinda cute. When Schatzie was a lot younger she learned to scale her puppy playpen. Came home one day to find her greeting us at the door.

| Our Maggie is also a Great Houdini. She was in the kitchen, (with a baby gate) playing and having the time of her life. I was in the sewing room and noticed that she was very quiet. Went to check on her and found her in th den. I put her back in the kitchen and hid around the corner. I watched her CLIMB the baby gate. Now the baby gate has slick panels on it. Thanks for sharing your story. |
