Yes, we live on a large lake and we love it...I feel so blessed each time I get to go outside and enjoy the view. But...Jo has such motion sickness that he may never get to go out on a boat

...he may have to sit there and watch us float by from his window seat! Speaking of the window seat...my husband is going to make them one that's built-in with steps next to my computer...hmmm - maybe I should consider covering the trim with metal or something indestructable!

So what is it about the taste of building supplies that attracts them? I've had birds that chewed on 2 x 4's but my dogs generally chew on store bought toys. Thank goodness they haven't bothered anything else and they haven't touched that spot since I found it...the little monsters...if they had thumbs I'd make them repaint!

Ok as one of the jury of your peers. I noticed that you did not mention that you actually saw these sweet innocent furbabies put there sweet little mouths on the freshly painted trim. I happen to have it on good account that it was actually that Aflac duck and your poor innocent furbabies were just trying to save you from that duck.

Nope, I will admit that I didn't see them do it but I did hear the crunch and I turned around to see Jo in that spot so I just assumed...maybe those tiny white paint chips in his front teeth were the give away! The Aflac duck huh? I knew I didn't like that duck for some reason other than the fact that he's just danged annoying!

I know what you mean. Mine chews the oak baseboards, I'm at this moment spraying bitter green everyday on the corners !! If he eats too much he just throws it up shortly **& keeps going !!
