Intruducing me and my puppy Hi, my name is Eygló and I wanted to intruduce me and my yorkie-puppy She is about 8 weeks old and still hasn't got a name, she´s got a big "brother" his name is Otto and he´s a 9 month old Minature Schnauzer and they get on amazingly well, she adores him and he her. We live in Spain but I am originally from Iceland. I tried to take some pictures of the little one this morning but she´s terrible at staying still so out of about 20 pics this was the only one where you can see here face, it's not a good one but it's the best one of the bunch

Welcome to YorkieTalk! We are becoming an international place! Your baby is darling! I know how hard it is to get a good picture -- Yorkies are just too fast for most cameras! I bet she'll have a lovely name in no time.....just as soon as you get to know her personality better.....Be sure to tell us!

Welcome to YT. I think it is a real cute picture of your new baby. We also have a Schnauzer. She is wonderful and gentle with Schatzie our Yorkie. Did you obtain your Yorkie in Spain? You received her at such an early age. Is that common in Spain? We normally do not obtain Yorkies here in the states until they are appx. 13 weeks of age. Enjoy every minute with her. They are such the best babies in the world!!

Thank you all, My name is pronounced Ay-Glo(w) Although I don´t mind I-Glow, I used to live in England and everyone called me Igloo We are getting to know her personality really well, she´s basically too big for her little body, if things don´t go her way then she´ll cry untill she gets them done her way(we do try not to give in though ), and boy does she wrap her big brother around her paw at first we thought that Otto was annoying her cause she was constantly yelping at him untill we found out that it was actually her attacking him whilst "barking" when she´s bored We got her when she was 6 weeks old, her mum died when she was 5 weeks, the people that owned her couldn´t take care of her, I don´t think that it is normal to obtain puppies here at such a young age, we didn´t get Otto untill he was 3 months old, but then again my friend got her puppy when she was only 9 weeks old. I think it depends on the person selling or giving the puppies away. I was very worried about getting her so young but the couple that owned her had already given away all the other pups so she was alone. I was terrified the first week about her, I never took care pf anything so small before, but I kept in constant touch with my vet and she´s growing into a healthy pup now The pic is of Otto I´m going to try to catch one of them together, but that might take a while

| Welcome to YorkieTalk, Eyglo! Your baby is adorable and Otto looks like quite the proud big brother! I don't know anything about Schnauzers but I can tell you for sure the Yorkie will be the most fun you have ever had. Our Toto is a girl and one of the most spoiled Yorkies on the planet!!

My goodness, that is so young to get a pup! How very sad that her mother died. You are brave to take on such tender care, and you have obviously done a wonderful job! She sounds like a typical Yorkie! Ordering you and her big brother around just like all of them do! They are so cute, it is almost impossible not to spoil them! And I love the picture of her big brother, Otto! He is just such a handsome little guy! It is so nice that they enjoy each other. After all she has been through, I think she needs a good strong name! You have so many choices in English, Icelandic, or Spanish.....

Cute kids you have! Sorry about butchering your name, I'd never seen such a name, you must understand. Hahah, the little Yorkie is a terror to big bro already! Yorkies must know they can get whatever they want at birth, it's just not fair! :P

Welcome it is so nice to have another new member. Both of your babies are adorable! Congratulations on your new addition. My yorkie Gabby is about 12 weeks old, she hasn't been with me that long, but I already love her to pieces. She is so cute and has such a big personality. I am sure that you will come up with the perfect name, I had the hardest time naming Gabby, but it fits her now, and she learned it in about a day. I can't wait to see more pics.

We´ve got a name Well we finally found a name for her, my bf wanted to pick one this time since I picked Otto but I got tired of waiting so I picked one myself It´s not English, Spanish nor Icelandic.. it´s Native American and it is Nita meaning Bear, I think it suits her personality perfectly and it´s quite cute as well hehehe She surprises me every day with her personality and attitute, I thought that Otto had a temper but now I consider him to be quite an Angel compared to her he is willingly giving up his toys to her, if she doesn´t get them she barks at him and he runs and hides Oh you got to love them Thank you all for making us feel so welcome here
