| Wow what a member of the mile high club Eddie is and so glad to hear he traveled so well. I can't believe you didn't have doggles on him in the California sun...that boy probably was in shock with that much sun and heat compared to Alaska. How did Jack react when you all came home? and did Jack get to go camping? Thanks for the update and boy I can see Eddie was swimming as fast as his little legs could go to get away from the scary trainer... (heehee evil laugh).

It took Jack a couple days to get used to us being gone, but he actually did well. Mother in law house-sat for us, and he likes to cuddle with her. So while he was happy to see us return, he wasn't peeing all over himself when we walked in the door. It validated my decision to leave him home, because I think a 10 year old, 4-pounder would have had a hard time on that trip.

I also think you made the right decision on leaving him home. Many of these rescues really don't like all the noise and attention and can have some problems with children...so in your case it worked out great. He was spoiled by your MIL and got to take a break from training and just veg out.
