I showed off Tiger first and then Annika by herself and then together . . .I added a new trick - CRAWL - and they both did it so well people just adored them . . they are truly STARS THAT SHINE!

The ROLL command IS part of puppy class . . .at least at PETSMART. What is included in the class: SIT STAY DOWN LEAVE IT (but Tiger was taught the wrong way by his first trainer so it needs to be addressed) TAKE IT ROLL SHAKE (as in hand shake) SPIN DPOP IT (Tiger needs help here) What is included in yours?

watch me, in, down, sit, walking on a leash w/o pulling, stay, take it, leave it. I thought the course was so so..wouldn't take it again.

Tiger went to PETSMART. He learned it all on the first couse but because they have a lifetime guarantee, we immediately went (back to back) and started all over agian just he can socialize with other dogs. We kinda volunteered a lot to show how the trick is being done. Now that they have a new older trainer, I really like her even more and she is very experienced (I guess it does come with age as he is an older lady ) we are going back again for the third time but instead of a puppy class, it is going to be a beginner class (same course except the group will not be puppies anymore) so he can get the leave it mastered CORRECTLY. I will video the leave it as he knows it very well but it always was followed by TAKE IT which is WRONG. All these as I said at NO charge . . so isn't that a heck of a great deal? Where did you go for your puppy class?

| I am just getting to this now. I think I have a crush on Annika Gosh she is so darn cute! Diamond would LOVE her and Tiger as well Diamond can really only do sit. By the time I get home from work, I am exhausted but I try to make her sit everytime she wants a treat. Once she has that mastered, I will teach her DOWN and STAY. I think I told you before but I had to re-train her for all the tricks since the puppy class I went to teaches your dog how to do tricks with a collar and leash on and when they don't do the trick right, you have to yank/tug on the leash which pulls at the collar. Ever since I started using the harness on her, I just decided to teach her over since we don't use the collar anymore! You are a good mommmy and an even better mommy for making the cutest yorkie clothes !

| Oh I'm sorry I just have to bump this thread and say that I screamed with delight at this!! Annika is soooo good! Haha!! Did you see her sit so patiently in the first clip?! And the way they both roll in unison.... just gorgeous! Well done Des! That's quite a pair of delightful puppies you have there. I want to teach Badger to roll too! All he knows right now is 'drop it', 'sit' (which he sometimes does as sitting or lying down, depending on his mood ) and 'bring it' which is retrieve. What lovely puppies and what a great mum for teaching them so well <3 |
